III. ‘Cell Phone Etiquette in the workplace’「職場上的手機禮儀」
● It's fine to receive a personal phone call, but switch your ringer to vibrate and talk quietly or go outside.
接聽私人電話是可以的,但要把鈴聲轉成震動並小聲說話,或到外面去講。
● Use a professional ringtone and keep it silenced if you leave your phone at your desk.
如果你要將手機放在桌面上,請使用專業的鈴聲並保持手機靜音。
● Do not use speakerphone—use earbuds to take calls and listen to voicemails.
不要使用免提電話,請使用耳機來接聽電話和聽播放錄音。
IV. Other ‘Unspoken Rules’ 其他潛規則:
● Don’t bring in food that can permeate滲透;瀰漫著 the whole office with a strong smell.
不要把氣味濃烈的食物帶回辦公室。
● Sharing professional information is wonderful, gossiping閒聊;聊八卦 is not. Only discuss personnel matters人事問題 directly with specific individuals, superiors, and management.
可以分享專業的資訊,但不要閒聊。人事問題只可跟上級和管理層人士討論。
● Since we have an open-office plan, it's a common courtesy禮貌 to lower your voice when talking.
因為我們的辦公室是開放式空間,説話時降低音量是起碼的禮貌。
● Please be respectful of those around you.
請尊重你身邊的人。
● Please be courteous to others.
請對別人有禮。
