HSI extends its drop to 500+ pts and is now at 26,581

[ET Net News Agency, 24 February 2026] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more
than 500 points, or 500 points to 26,581. The Hang Seng Index now fell 500 points, or 1.8%
to 26,581; with market turnover of 60.2b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell
178 points, or 1.9% to 9,018; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 144 points, or 2.7% to
5,240.
TENCENT (00700) now fell HK$17.5, or 3.3% to HK$520.5, with turnover of HK$4.4b; HSBC
HOLDINGS (00005) fell HK$2.8, or 2.1% to HK$133.1, with turnover of HK$398.36m; BABA-W
(09988) fell HK$3.8, or 2.5% to HK$148.4, with turnover of HK$2.59b. (ed)
