[ET Net News Agency, 2 March 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$357.68
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$86.72 billion, or 24.24% of the market's
turnover. There were 860 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$20.83 billion and HK$10.15
billion, or 24.03% and 11.7% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 74.81% and 53.45% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$4.45 billion and HK$3.24 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.14% and 3.74% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 54.86% and 30.7% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.14, or 2.78%, to HK$4.89. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.62,
or 2.3%, to HK$26.28. HSCEI ETF fell HK$1.96, or 2.16% to HK$88.96. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$1.76, or 5.04%, to HK$33.14.
