[ET Net News Agency, 3 March 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$370.55
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$68.78 billion, or 18.56% of the market's
turnover. There were 855 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$10.37 billion and HK$5.74
billion, or 15.08% and 8.34% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 48.86% and 31% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$5.18 billion and HK$1.91 billion of
short sales, accounting for 7.52% and 2.78% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 40.8% and 13.53% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.32, or 1.22%, to HK$25.96. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.128, or 2.62%, to HK$4.762. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.88, or 0.99% to HK$88.08. TENCENT
declined by HK$3.5, or 0.68%, to HK$510.5.
