HSI extends its drop to 500+ pts and is now at 20,590

[ET Net News Agency, 15 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
500 points, or 502 points to 20,589. The Hang Seng Index now fell 502 points, or 2.4% to
20,589; with market turnover of 127.78b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell
196 points, or 2.6% to 7,383; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 125 points, or 2.7% to
4,542.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now fell HK$9.9, or 5.4% to HK$173.7, with turnover of HK$6.71b;
BABA-W (09988) fell HK$4, or 3.8% to HK$101.2, with turnover of HK$4.37b; TENCENT (00700)
fell HK$15.6, or 3.6% to HK$420.4, with turnover of HK$6.21b. (ed)
